Big Joe Forklifts has generously donated a brand-new walkie stacker to the HSX lab in exchange for our existing unit from the 1960s, which will be displayed at the company’s headquarters as a historical exhibit.
08/01/25:
HSX collaborators Prof. Sadayoshi Murakami, Prof. Yuya Morishita, Prof. Naoki Kenmochi, and graduate student Kousuke Tahara from Japan performed successful experiments at HSX that aimed at controlling plasma performance using the ASTI data assimilation code.
04/23/25:
Graduate student Michael Richardson gives a plenary talk on the “Impact of Density Profile Shaping on Trapped Electron Mode Turbulence and Confinement in the HSX Stellarator” during this year’s TTF conference in Seattle, WA.
